RAISING FUNDS FOR CHILDREN'S
CANCER NORTH.
An amazing month for the region with regard to our fundraising for the charity. With the aid of THE BIG GIVE CHRISTMAS CHALLENGE, ANDY ELAND'S CHRISTMAS FUNDRAISER AND BOXING DAY DIP we raised another £4,772.00 during December which enabled us to break through our target of £20,000.00 raised. The total to date now stands at £20,426.00. Moving into 2025 we will be still supporting the charity.
Pike wise a reasonably quiet month with the best fish of the Christmas period falling to Ross Greaves with a lovely Esox weighing in at 17lb 4 ozs. A few other Jacks caught by the members. The region's Winter Pike championship has now had three rounds with Steve Sandiford presently in pole position with Stuart Fairclough in second position and Ross Greaves in third. Round four will take place in three weeks time.
