JULY - A MIXED BAG.

Bruce With A Nice Tench Of 5lb 12 ozs.

July proved to be a more rewarding month than June with a few nice fish being caught. Dave Gardner and Steve Sandiford continued their quest on the river at the start of the month catching some more good quality Barbel,Chub and Bream. Round two of the region's Summer league was eventually fished after being cancelled twice. The weather forecast 24 hrs before the event was not favourable but on the day it turned out to be the opposite. A very warm day with blue skies that may have proved detrimental to the fishing turned out for most pretty rewarding. Jon Tweddle and Chris Graham tied for first place with Paul Patterson taking third position. Best fish on the day fell to Bruce Turnbull with a Tench pictured above. Everything to play for this month when round three will be fished. Paul Patterson in the lead at present with Dave Greally holding second only a few ounces behind.

Bruce Found Some Rather Large Roach.

Chris Caught Some Perch And Nice Crucians.

Ross Travelled Further Afield To Mexico And Did Not Blank.
