FEBRUARY - A QUIETER MONTH.

February proved to be a much quieter month for most of the region's members but one exception is pictured above. Jon joined the region a year ago not having caught a Pike before. Those who read our regular monthly blog will have noticed him in our April 2021 report with his first double figure Pike. Since then Jon has gone on to win the region's Summer league championship. He has basically struggled this Pike season that was until he latched on to this 22lb predator on round five of our Winter Pike championship. Only one more round of the championship to go and Jon finds himself  in a very good position on the leader board. Next month's blog will reveal the 2021/22 winner. Lots going on in March with a good number of the members taking part in the PAC Lake Of Menteith events. The following weekend the lads are away on our twice yearly Jolly Boys outing and the final weekend of the month will see a good turnout for the end of season fishing/social. End of March sees the end of our trophy year and still a lot to play for with plenty silverware up for grabs.
