A rather quiet month for most of the members. Warm and humid weather had slowed the fishing down but Chris Graham found the fish on song when he won round one of the Summer league matches on a local water. He started with a nice total weight of 20lbs 12 ozs. Mike Bell took second spot with Peter Armstrong in third place

It may have been a slow month with regard to the fishing but the fundraising for our charity just carried on and we can now announce that we have raised a total of
£36,748.00
SENPAC are pleased to announce that in conjunction with the Pike Anglers Club Of Great Britain that they will be holding a Predator Charity Angling Event on Saturday 24th October 2026 with ALL THE PROCEEDS ON THE DAY being donated to Children's Cancer North.
The event is going to be held at West Moor social club, 10 Moorside, Great Lime Road, West Moor, Newcastle Upon Tyne NE12 7NL. Doors open at 1pm with adults admittance fee of £10.00, OAPs £5.00 and children FREE. The day's events will finish at 10.30pm. The angling event will finish around 6.30pm and will be closely followed by a fundraising night for the charity which will include a raffle, tombola etc and live entertainment. For those wanting to make a full day of it the ticket also includes admittance to the evening fundraiser. Some great speakers will be attending on the day including Brian Ingram, Charlie Coppolo, Dick Culpin, Eric Edwards, Jon Neafcy, Neville Fickling and the present British Pike record holder Lloyd Watson. The event will also include exhibitors and demonstrations making it a day not to be missed. A prize raffle will be run on the day and food will also be available. Please try to support our event on the day and also spread the word around to your friends and family. TOGETHER WE CAN RAISE SUBSTANTIAL FUNDS FOR CHILDREN'S CANCER NORTH who will have representatives from the charity also attending on the day.
